I went to a park today and played some basketball with a few friends, it was fun. There was a climbing frame and swings so we climbed and swung,

Went back to one of their houses and played some cards in the sum, it was good, won some, lost some.

The thing is I woke this morning feeling like my head was filled with lumpy mash potato and my nose was running. I will then be official.

This is great news and we can now go for a loan at the bank.

To send flappie and myself back to Australia.

Fingers crossed we get the loan because if we dont then I may be waiting for years to return to a life. my life. any life.

Everyone do a "SD gets a loan" dance.
Moving

Got word late Tuesday that our new apartment was ready, so in the last two days we've been in the process of moving. Maybe I'll post some photos later but for now we're still not done with curtains/blinds and light fittings and general mess, since we bought some furniture that needed assembling.

canies good friend, a furniture tradesman by profession, assured us that the (cheap) wardrobe we bought was on par with Ikea in terms of quality, or lack thereof. The wretched thing took Read More...

The other day Horris died. We knew it was going to happen, we just didn't know it would be so soon, we hoped it wouldn't be just yet. He's been slowing down for some time now, not doing what he should have been doing.

Thats why I've not been here for a few days.

Don't be sad though, we now have Yoda, a desent PC!

He was discharged and came home Friday afternoon. I spoke to one of his carers about my feelings on the matter - I was worried that little or no progress had been made, and of course coming home meant access to computer, phone, internet, and - the main issue - the girl again.

The person spoke to assured me that:
1.

He got admitted to a psych place today. Was badly in need of it for some time anyway. The relationship troubles are still there, and no doubt connected to his poor mental health.

He says he is working at pulling away from this online girl. If the logs are anything to go by, their relationship is more than blossoming. They are becoming more and more dependent on each other, in an unhealthy way. He is not well mentally, and she doesn't seem much better. They are pulling each other down, Read More...

You may not have noticed it but for the past week I've not been here. I lost my internet connection due to getting a centralised heating system.

Yes my house is now slightly to warm, which is much warmer than it was previously. The only thing is. I've turned the net on this morning to find myself with .5mb connected.

Life is very busy lately. I go off to work, canie to school, and when we're finally home again, we each do our own thing. I've been leaving him to his studies, knowing he'd get grumpy with me for interrupting.

I hadn't imagined that he'd feel neglected instead and find a girl online, develop feelings for her, and then tell me a month ago, he didn't love me anymore and he didn't think I loved him either. They either run in wihtout though of others in their fellowship, or don't bother coming to your rescue. And if things go wrong, they blame every one else.

I don't like dwarfs much. My character is probably even more un-fond of dwarfs.

Just amazed at the audacity of some anti-abortion or anti-choice groups in the United States, who bought a 30-second time slot to advertise how wrong women are to have an abortion, especially if advised to do so for health reasons.

Aparently a woman gave birth to a good athlete after she ignored advice to have a 5th child when she fell ill during her pregancy.
