Episode 23

The pyramids dominate the horizon of Al Simhara.  The beauitful Egyptian town is filled in equal measure with palm trees and tourist traps.

The latest adventurers to visit Al Simhara are Luke Warm and Citanul Lunatic.

Luke and Citanul are set up at Base Camp, alongside the tents of several other travelers.

"We'll blend right in here"

Our brave explorers step into the heart of the town where mere thousands of tourists have dared to tread before.  Luke quickly grabs the chance to try out a local practise: snake charming.

Citanul isn't very impressed with the performance.  Luke begins to wonder if there's even a snake in the basket in the first place.

Luke decides instead to sample the local food.  He finds the shawarma to be quite delicious.

Meanwhile Citanul is making first contact with the natives in the way that comes most natural to him.

Unfortunately his charms are lost on the Egyptian townsfolk who don't take kindly to snobs around these parts.

Relations with the locals having collapsed, Citanul retreats and pursuades Luke that now is the time to leave town.

Our intrepid adventurers find themselves at the Great Pyramid. Scouring amongst the ruins around the structure they make a startling discovery.

Luke and Citanul have found an entrance to the pyramid that isn't marked on their tour guide.

There's only one logical thing for them to do, get the door open and take a look inside.  Perfectly safe I'm sure...
