RandomSims Episode #24

Episode 24

Hidden in the shadows of the great pyramid, the entrance to the lost tomb lies agape.

And Luke and Citanul are walking right in.

Click "Read more" if you dare.

Our favourite twosome stand in wonder at the sights before them.  A number of statues stand scattered about the chamber but there is no sign of a doorway leading further into the tomb.

Luke remembers playing this level in Tomb Raider and gets to work pushing and shoving the statues around until something happens.  Citanul watches and learns.

Finding a hole in the floor underneath one of the statues, Luke does the natural thing and sticks his hand in.  Therein he discovers a switch.

After Luke presses the switch, sections of the wall swing away to reveal another chamber.  Citanul feels drawn into the dark and musty cavity, and Luke is compelled to join him through the ajoining entrance.

Luke is the first to spot the treasure chest.  He rushes to open it before Citanul gets the chance...

...which triggers a trap, setting the room on fire.  Luckily Citanul is standing outside the flames and is perfectly safe from the raging inferno.

Luke however is trapped inside the blaze and his clothes are catching on fire.  Citanul watches and learns.

Then Citanul remembers that he has something in his pack for just this occasion.

Luke's life may be saved but it's too late for his clothes.

Our valiant explorers realise that they're totally lost inside the tomb.  They begin to doubt that they'll ever see daylight again.

Is there any hope for Luke and Citanul?

Good choice of word, agape. Greek for 'brotherly love', such as might exist between these two.
